Privacy Policy

How Treehous handles the information you share with us.

Last updated: July 2026

This policy explains what Treehous, LLCdoes with the information you share with us through this website. We're a holding company, not a data business, so we keep this short and we mean every word of it. If anything here is unclear, just ask us.

What we collect

We keep this simple, because we collect very little. Treehous is a holding company, not a data business. Most of what we know about you is what you choose to send us.

  • Information you send us: your name, email address, and the contents of your message when you reach out by email or through a contact form on our site.
  • Basic usage data: standard technical details your browser shares automatically, such as device and browser type, approximate location, and which pages on our site you view.

How we use it

We use what you share for a short list of ordinary business reasons:

  • To reply to you and continue the conversation you started.
  • To operate and improve Treehous and the companies under our roof.
  • To keep our site secure and working the way it should.
  • To meet our legal, tax, and accounting obligations.

We do not sell your information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information, ever. We're a family of operating companies, not a data broker. The information you send us stays with us, and we only share it with the service providers who help us run the business (for example, our email and hosting tools), under agreements that keep it protected.

Cookies and basic analytics

Our site uses a small number of cookies and a privacy-respecting analytics tool to understand how the site is used, which pages people read, and whether anything is broken. This helps us keep the site useful and fix what isn't working.

Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings. The site will still work if you do; a few small conveniences just may not be remembered between visits.

Third parties and links

We rely on a handful of trusted providers to run the site and the business: hosting, email, and analytics among them. They only receive the information they need to do their job.

Our site links out to the companies under our roof, including Takovia and Montieur, as well as other outside sites. Those sites are governed by their own privacy policies, not this one. When you follow a link off treehous.io, we'd encourage you to read the policy of wherever you land.

Data retention

We keep your information only as long as we have a reason to: to answer your question, maintain our records, or meet a legal obligation. When it's no longer needed, we delete it or strip it of anything that identifies you.

Your choices

You're in control of the information you share with us. You can:

  • Ask us what we hold about you, and request a copy of it.
  • Ask us to correct or delete your information.
  • Ask us to stop emailing you. Every message from us includes a way to opt out.

Changes to this policy

As Treehous grows and the companies under our roof change, we may update this policy. When we do, we'll revise the date at the top of this page. We'll keep it honest and easy to read, the same way we try to run everything else.

How to contact us

Questions about this policy, or about anything we hold about you? We'd genuinely like to hear from you. Reach us anytime and we'll take care of it.
