Terms of Service
The terms for using the Treehous website.
Last updated: July 2026
These terms govern your use of the Treehous website. Treehous, LLC is a holding company, not a data business, so we keep this short and we mean every word of it. If anything here is unclear, just ask us.
Acceptance of these terms
By visiting or using treehous.io, you agree to these terms. They're a straightforward agreement between you and Treehous about how this website works and how we all use it. If you don't agree with them, that's completely fine, we'd just ask that you not use the site.
These terms cover this website. They don't cover the products and services offered by the companies under our roof. Those run under their own separate terms, which we point to below.
Using the site
You're welcome to read, browse, and share what's here. In return, we ask that you use the site honestly and don't do anything that gets in the way of it working for everyone else. Specifically, please don't:
- Use the site to break the law, or to help anyone else break it.
- Try to disrupt, overload, probe, or gain unauthorized access to the site, its servers, or anything connected to it.
- Scrape, copy, or republish large parts of the site for commercial use without our permission.
- Impersonate Treehous or one of the companies under our roof, or misrepresent your connection to us.
Our name, marks, and content
The Treehous name, logo, and the text, design, and images on this site belong to us, or to the people we license them from. They're protected by intellectual-property law, and they're a real part of how we've built this company.
You're free to link to the site and to quote small portions with credit. Beyond that, please don't copy, reproduce, or reuse our name, marks, or content without asking us first. If you'd like to use something, reach out, we're reasonable, and we'd rather say yes than chase you down.
The companies under our roof
Treehous is a holding company, a hous for the companies we grow. The companies under our roof, including Takovia and Montieur, operate their own products and services under their own terms of service and their own agreements with you.
These terms apply to the Treehous website only. When you sign up for, buy from, or otherwise engage one of our companies, that relationship is governed by that company's terms, not this page. If you can't find the terms you're looking for, get in touch and we'll point you to the right place.
The site is provided “as is”
We work to keep this site accurate, current, and available, but we're an operating business, not a utility, and we can't promise it will always be perfect. The site and everything on it are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
That means we don't guarantee the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of anything harmful, and we don't warrant that the information on it is complete or up to date. Anything you read here is for general information, it isn't professional, legal, financial, or investment advice.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Treehous and the people who work under our roof won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages that come from using, or being unable to use, this website. That includes things like lost profits, lost data, or a site interruption, whether or not we were told such damages were possible.
Some places don't allow certain limitations like these, so parts of this section may not apply to you. Where a limitation isn't allowed, our liability is limited to the smallest amount the law permits.
Changes to these terms
As Treehous grows and the companies under our roof change, we may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the site after an update means you accept the revised terms, so it's worth a look now and then.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, in the United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute connected to this website or these terms will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Nevada, and you agree that's a proper place for it.
How to contact us
